John was born in Lincoln, Nebraska. He attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1970 and his Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 1973. John was one of the founders of the firm and has been a partner at Wolfe Snowden since 1977
