A native of Lincoln, Tom received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a Political Science minor from the University of Nebraska in 1984 where he was a two year letter winner and starting offensive tackle on the Nebraska football team. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 1988 and since graduation from law school his practice has focused exclusively on civil litigation, insurance defense and insurance coverage matters.
