General Civil Litigation/Trial Practice

Our litigation attorneys have the determination, tenacity and skill required to successfully litigate your case when litigation provides the best means of resolving your legal issues. Our professional courtroom demeanor and meticulous preparation give us an edge as assertive, strategic advocates.  Litigation often results from unresolved disputes between individuals, businesses or governmental agencies. WSHLA has attorneys whose practices revolve around litigation. Not only are its attorneys experienced in maneuvering through all parts of a lawsuit, several members specialize in resolving disputes even before a claim is filed. While we are aggressive in our pursuit of justice for our clients, we have enough experience to know when alternative forms of resolution are either required or recommended such as arbitration and mediation. Our attorneys have successfully handled cases from the date of the accident, to a desired verdict and defended the verdict all the way through the appellate process. We understand that our clients are best served with an early evaluation and recommendations reasonable in nature for compromise resolution if appropriate or the use of alternative dispute resolution practices such as arbitration or mediation. Our goal is to resolve a case as quickly and efficiently as possible in light of the complexity of the case. Experience has taught us that although we may be reducing the earnings of the firm in the short run, we make up for it by earning a reputation that serves us well in the long run.
