OSHA Will Review Small Farm Inspection Guide, Consult With Agriculture Department

In response to challenges by lawmakers, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration is reviewing its farm inspection guidelines, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Labor Jordan Barab said Jan. 22. ‘‘We certainly can see places where [the directive] can be clarified, ’’ he said during a news conference focusedon OSHA farm inspection policies. Barab is the second-ranking OSHA official, after Assistant Secretary David Michaels.
